OUR PASTOR
Pastor Paul was born on October 31, 1958. He was raised in Edgecombe County, North Carolina, near the small community of Speed. Raised on a family farm, he grew up with a deep appreciation for faith, family, and hard work.
He accepted Christ at the age of 18 and later felt God renew the call to ministry as he and his wife, Vicki, became active in church. After years of study and preparation under pastoral leadership, Pastor Paul attended Fruitland Baptist Bible College in Hendersonville, North Carolina, where he earned an Associate Degree in Pastoral Ministry.
Pastor Paul has served in ministry as an associate pastor at Capital City Biker Church and has preached at Just Jesus Community Church. After moving to Sanford in 2025, he and Vicki began attending Union Methodist Church and quickly felt at home among its people and ministries.
When Union was without a pastor, Pastor Paul joined the preaching rotation and soon developed a deep love for the church’s heart for serving others and sharing the Gospel. He later accepted the invitation to serve as lead pastor.
Union Methodist Church is grateful to have Pastor Paul and Vicki as part of its church family and looks forward to what God has in store as the church continues to grow, serve, and share the love of Christ.

OUR CHURCH
Are you looking for a church that is large enough to support a community, but small enough that you cannot help but feel at home the minute you walk through the doors?
Union Methodist Church is a traditional church, with generations of local families who relish in the small town feel. Union lies in the middle of the Piedmont region of North Carolina.
This beautiful sandhills area is only a few short hours from Mountains and Ocean, and a short distance from history, and culture. The church sits near the borders of Lillington, Sanford, and Spring Lake, encouraging residents from multiple communities to make Union home.
The traditional services enjoy the old Methodist hymns, while including modern music into the mix. If you are looking for a church wrapped in traditional values and encouraging members, look no further.
Guests are always welcome.
A church rich in Faith.
